The Graduate School’s Royster Society of Fellows hosted the third annual Royster Global Conference, with a focus on borders, from May 28 through 31. The event featured graduate students from UNC-Chapel Hill, King’s College London, the National University of Singapore, Universidad San Francisco de Quito and the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen. More than 40 doctoral students representing more than 25 academic disciplines participated in four days of panel discussions, workshops and other activities. Interim Chancellor Kevin M. Guskiewicz; Steve Matson, dean of The Graduate School; Terry Rhodes, interim dean of the College of Arts & Sciences; and Sibby Anderson-Thompkins, director of the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, were among the featured speakers.
